What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Coordinator position at Amity Physical Therapy?
Amity Physical Therapy is seeking an upbeat, friendly, reliable and self motivated individual to join our expanding team as an office administrator/front desk receptionist. Experience working in a fast paced environment is preferred. Proficiency in answering multi-line phones, greeting and scheduling patients, verifying insurance benefits, collecting co-pays and posting insurance payments would be ideal. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is essential, as is communication with other team members.
We are currently looking to fill a full-time position (40 hours per week). Availability in early morning (7:30am) and evenings as late as 7pm is required. Candidate must be willing to travel between offices.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorization as-needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with medical staff to streamline patient flow and enhance overall service delivery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.35 - $18.00 per hour
