The Gist…
We are seeking an experienced Program and Federal Growth Manager to oversee one or more government programs, ensuring successful execution while driving organic growth and strategic business development. This individual will be responsible for managing project performance, stakeholder engagement, and contract compliance, while also working closely with the Growth team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in government contracting, program management, and business development strategies, with a focus on law enforcement agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DoJ).
What Your Day Might Include…
- Oversee the execution of one or more government programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, addressing needs, concerns, and evolving requirements.
- Monitor program performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and support organic growth efforts within existing programs, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings or enhance contract value.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to develop and execute strategies for pursuing new business opportunities within the government sector, particularly within law enforcement agencies such as DHS and DOJ (amongst others).
- Drive Capture Management efforts by identifying, qualifying, and positioning the organization for new business opportunities.
- Develop and refine customer requirements through engagement with government stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission needs.
- Participate in proposal development, capture planning, and competitive analysis for new contract pursuits.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations, contractual obligations, and organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and professional development of team members.
- Prepare and present reports, briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership on program performance and growth strategies.
Requirements
You’ll Bring These Qualifications…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project/program management within the government contracting space.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, capture management, and customer engagement within law enforcement agencies such as DHS, DOJ.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract management, and government regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and drive strategic decision-making.
- PMP certification or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
