What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at AMJ Group Inc?
AMJ Group Inc., a boutique real estate company is seeking a an articulate receptionist- administrative assistant to handle our front desk to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. The position is in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that requires the ability to multi-task and remain resilient to both change and varying intensity of workload. Must have keen attention to detail and flexibility to handle shifting priorities with grace under pressure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to answer multiple phone lines, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Accept payments from tenants
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office
- Answer basic questions about available properties
- Must be able to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
- Professional attitude and appearance a must
- High-level and confident in: written and verbal communication, use of proper grammar, use of English language, calendaring.
- Emotional maturity and trustworthy with impeccable moral standards
- Ability to work in an environment where priorities may suddenly shift
- Handle highly confidential matters with discretion and respect.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- Must have Great Customer Service attitude
