Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Utilize Resy for managing reservations and processing guest information.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host area.
- Provide assistance with phone etiquette by answering calls professionally and addressing guest needs effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with Toast POS, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively.
- A passion for providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
