The Clinic Services Strategy Manager provides leadership in planning, guiding, and coordinating clinical practice operations, while maintaining a focus on patient experience and clinical operation excellence. Primary responsibilities of this position will include fostering cohesion among all ACHS clinical staff and locations, authorizing clinical supply purchases while maintaining fiscal accountability and ensuring all clinical equipment is properly maintained and functional. This role’s purpose is to provide leadership that aligns with the ACHS mission, vision, and value statements while ensuring compliance with the organization’s accreditation standards and all local, state, and federal regulations.

- Provide supervision, mentorship and guidance to all clinical support staff, amongst all ACHS sites.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clinical staff, management, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other cross-disciplinary staff on issues relating to patient care needs and employee job fulfillment.
- Steer collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders on deliverables to ensure expected timelines, quality standards, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and applicable local, state, federal regulations and accreditation standards are being met.
- Coordinate the creation, development, implementation and revision of applicable policies, procedures and protocols while ensuring employee compliance.
- In collaboration with Human Resources and the Senior Workforce Strategy and Enrichment Manager, foster job fulfillment amongst all clinical support staff at each care delivery site by actively participating in the employee talent life cycle. This includes but is not limited to, providing professional growth and development opportunities, retention, recruitment and performance management.
- Monitor clinic schedules in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective clinical support, optimal turnaround times, and exceptional patient experiences.
- Maintain accountability for implementing and consistently maintaining ACHS initiatives and workflows.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to develop and implement staffing models that consider specialization and patient care requirements and assure the appropriate staffing levels for the sites are maintained.
- Create a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, continuous improvement, reward and recognition, and patient safety.
- Responsible for oversight and participation with our ACO (Accountable Care Organization). Assess and implement opportunities for improvement where identified.
- Work with the Chief Medical Officer in managing multiple concurrent initiatives to ensure ACHS’s compliance with applicable ACO goals.
- Maintain knowledge regarding ACO policies and procedures and regulatory requirements through ongoing research and regular attendance at meetings.
- Utilize standard project management tools and principles to define and manage project scope, monitor timelines and deliverables, and identify pathways to resolve risks and barriers.
- Work with ACHS managers and staff to develop and implement systems, procedures and workflows that produce sustainable results and support ongoing operations in meeting ACO deliverables.
- Oversee and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders using communication plans, status reports, and various media sources tailored to the audience.
- Oversight and maintenance of onsite lab services.
- Responsible for the oversight and control of supplies that directly impact patient care, including ordering, taking inventory, and updating stock medications, medical supplies, patient care equipment and general clinical supplies.
- In collaboration with the Senior Workforce Strategy and Enrichment Manager, responsible for the management of ACHS’s utilization of the NH immunization program and vaccine management
- In collaboration with the Senior Workforce Strategy and Enrichment Manager, oversee of the Infection Control Program for all sites, including but not limited to:
- Eliciting and providing feedback regarding staff compliance
- management of MSD Sheets
- Infection Control related supply implementation, management, and ordering.
- In collaboration with Clinical Leadership and related committees the Clinic Services Strategy Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and tracking of quality control protocols and procedures within the ACHS Clinical setting including but not limited to testing and lab equipment, emergency response equipment and point of care technology.
- Assess quality improvement opportunities within the clinical setting, provide feedback as needed and in collaboration with the Clinical Strategy and Informatics Director, develop and implement strategies to ensure delivery of the highest quality patient care, optimal patient flow, provider productivity and continuity of care.
- Mandatory committee involvement includes:
- Continuous Health Improvement (CHI) team, the ACHS clinical quality group meets regularly to discuss and implement best practices in health care delivery.
- Safety and Risk Management Committee, the ACHS clinical quality group meets regularly to discuss and implement safety standards to assist in mitigating risk across the organization.
- Clinical Event Subcommittee of the Safety and Risk Management Committee that meets regularly to discuss critical incidents and opportunities for safety improvement.
- Participate as needed in all programs, licensure, and other external audits and in the preparation of action plans and reports to outside entities.
- Other duties, hours, and ACHS site placement may be assigned.
