The Position
- The Director of the Mother-Baby Unit will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and ensuring exceptional patient care in a 15-bed Labor and Delivery Unit.
- This position will report to the Chief of Patient Care Services and oversee 30 FTEs.
- This leader will spearhead the re-implementation of an auto-scheduling program, providing comprehensive retraining to ensure seamless adoption. Additionally, they will drive efforts to elevate the NICU to a Level 2 designation and earn the Baby Friendly designation for the department. Furthermore, they will collaborate closely with current physicians to develop and implement a team-based care model, enhancing overall patient care and operational efficiency.
- Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical expertise and proven leadership skills. They must be highly collaborative, adept at building relationships across all levels of staff, and skilled in coaching and managing personnel to drive team success.
- This role presents significant executive-level growth potential, with the organization rapidly expanding and building a new hospital to support its continued development.
- BSN required; a Master’s degree or MSN is preferred.
- Active RN license required.
- A minimum of three years relevant clinical experience is required.
- The base salary range for this position is $122,000 to $168,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
