Interim Manager of Surgical Services

An Indiana hospital is seeking their next Interim Manager of Surgical Services!
The Position
- The Interim Manager of Surgical Services will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day surgical operations throughout the facility.
- The Interim Manager will focus on ongoing departmental initiatives including room turnover efficiency, throughput, data-driven strategies, and the optimization of OR productivity.
- This leader will closely monitor KPIs including block utilization, case length accuracy, and staffed room utilization.
- Seeking a hands-on, experienced, OR leader who will be able to effectively create and foster a collaborative environment, focusing on working relationships with staff, physicians, and surgeons.
- Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Active RN license is required.
- A minimum of two years’ leadership experience including one year of acute care nursing experience is required.
- Compensation Range: $120,000 to $130,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
- The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
