Buffalo General Medical Center, a proud part of Kaleida Health, is seeking their next Sr. Director of Procedural Operations to join their innovative organization in Buffalo, New York!
The Position
- The Sr. Director of Procedural Operations will be responsible for the overall development, leadership, and long-term strategic direction pertaining to procedural labs.
- In collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and the OR department, the Sr. Director will manage approximately 200 FTEs throughout 15 labs and will have direct oversight of strategic and programmatic planning, marketing, business development, space planning, human resources, and financial initiatives.
- The Sr. Director will be responsible for the operating annual budget, and will closely monitor financial performance, shortfalls, reporting, budget development, and fiscal education. In addition, this leader will support finance leadership in negotiations with both payors and debtors and will ensure all finance initiatives are aligned with Kaleida Health.
- This leader will develop and implement strategic planning encompassing market shares, physical plants and contractual agreements with practitioner and physician groups to ensure operational alignment with organizational short- and long-term goals.
- This position is responsible for establishing measurable quality-based performance outcomes and deploying new information technologies to maximize the effectiveness of physical, financial, and organizational resources.
- This leader will examine current processes and models of care, conduct analysis to determine areas needing improvement, and improve quality and safety metrics.
- Seeking a knowledgeable leader to establish positive working relationships throughout the organization including physicians, staff, and unions, while simultaneously assuming responsibility for his/her own professional and leadership development.
- Master’s degree is required.
- A minimum of ten years of experience pertaining to patient care delivery is required.
- A minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience is required.
- The base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
