What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Clinic Nurse (Outpatient RN) position at AMN Healthcare?
Outpatient RN provide care to people with health problems who visit the hospital for diagnosis or treatment, but do not at this time require a bed or to be admitted for overnight care. Outpatient RN’s can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers but typically work at Outpatient Clinics or in the Outpatient area of the hospital.
Education/Requirements:
*Covid Infusion Clinic: Must have strong clinical background and excellent IV skills. 2month assignment with potential to extend. Primary Duties: IV starts, monitor patients during covid medication infusions
Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
- You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
- RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
