Description:
The Compression Operator III is responsible for the set-up and operation of the compression machine in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance to ensure the production of quality products.
Essential Functions:
- To run the compression machine at the optimum RPM/ SPM's. Trouble shooting during Compression Operation.
- To “A” clean and set the machine using correct tooling. (Dedicated work takes 12 hours to complete the work, needs to perform every 15 days for manufacturing same product.)
- To able to understand the room release procedure in order to perform the duties whenever the need arises.
- To review the batch folders for all data entered once the compression is completed. Inform Supervisor/Designee for any discrepancy/missing data.
- To train the fellow junior operators regarding the setting up the machine and making the initial sample.
- Provide “On Job Training” to Operator Level-I and II regarding checking Tablets/capsules for any defects, checking Tablets/Capsules parameters and initial machine adjustment.
- Make initial sample, follow IPQA process.
- Manage/monitor control substance handling and manufacturing/sampling/Testing/storage procedure.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School or GED General HS Curriculum - Preferred
Experience:
- 5 years or more in With HS/GED Experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing
- 6 years or more in Less than HS/GED proven related experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Required to read, write, and communicate in English - Intermediate
- High school level math and mechanical skills - Intermediate
- Flexible to work extended hours when required - Intermediate
- Ability to work as part of a team - Intermediate
- Attention to detail and accuracy - Intermediate
Specialized Knowledge:
- High Speed compression machine, Double Layer tablet Press, Trouble shooting, preventative maintenance
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $23.00 to $31.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
