Job Description
COORDINATOR/SPECIALIST COOSP SUPPORT -
OSP SUPPORT - Support function for OSP engineering. May involve widely varying tasks between positions.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree desired; not required and/or 2 years FIOS/build out and provisioning also desired; not required.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive knowledge of Client FIOS Network Provisioning systems not limited to but including: COEP, CCP, ICGS, iVAPP.
- Extensive knowledge of Client FIOS vPLAN capacity management system
- Thorough working knowledge of FIOS Provisioning process from point of need to in-service level
- Extensive knowledge or Client ASSIST ticket process
- Must have background knowledge of CO and OSP Engineering as it relates to the FIOS network
- Expert level knowledge of MS Excel – including vLook-up and pivot tables
- Extensive knowledge of Client fiber and FIOS network Architecture
- Thorough knowledge of FIOS network elements and how they relate to the overall Client network
ORGANIZATIONAL JOB DUTIES:
- Ability to organize, analyze and process FIOS Service Order fall out by state, VZ Region and CO using Client iVAPP Capacity Management system
- Ability to establish, organize and execute several small projects relating to or in support of FIOS provisioning.
- Ability to support and prioritize multiple assignments with daily and weekly deliverables
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to facilitate capacity, provisioning and Service Order issues with field Engineering and OSP personal
ADAPTIVE:
- Must be able to interface with and have extensive knowledge of Client Planning and Engineering organizations using vPLAN in order to resolve regional capacity issues
- Must be able to analyze network issues and provide detailed analysis and resolution.
- Work independently to resolve FIOS capacity Service Order Fall –out issues relating to FIOS provisioning systems and capacity management systems (iVAPP and vPLAN)
- Ability to take

- Must have ability to communicate complex technical issues with COEP, CO Technicians, CVT, OSP Engineering and Planning.
