Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while monitoring guest needs.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server role or similar hospitality position is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS or similar) is a plus.
- Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
