Job Summary

As the IT Manager at Amorepacific US Inc., you will be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing the company’s technology infrastructure, with a particular focus on supporting critical systems such as SAP, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Shopify. Given recent operational challenges, including a knowledge gap in SAP ECP (Customer Code Creation) and an inefficient transition of responsibilities, you will be responsible for driving system improvements, ensuring clear role assignments, and fostering internal expertise to reduce reliance on HQ support.


In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure that SAP ECP processes are aligned with their operational needs, providing timely support for customer code creation and improving overall efficiency. Your leadership will be key in spearheading IT initiatives, troubleshooting system inefficiencies, and developing robust technological solutions that support the company’s strategic objectives and business growth. Having experience working with North American retailer partners and understanding the relationship between their systems is also critical.

Job Description

  • System Management and Support: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP, EWM, EDI, and Shopify to ensure high system reliability and timely resolution of technical issues. Must work directly with Retail Partners for EDI and system set- up and maintenance
  • SAP ECP Expertise: Establish a dedicated SAP support structure to enhance system stability and efficiency in customer code creation while reducing dependency on HQ IT support.
  • Project Leadership: Manage IT projects from inception to completion, including system upgrades, integrations, and implementations, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Strategic Sales Support: Work closely with the Sales team to streamline SAP ECP processes, ensuring seamless and timely customer code creation, as well as be the key liaison with North American retail partners to ensure EDI process is running smoothly.
  • Clear Role Assignments: Define and implement clear roles and responsibilities within the IT and SCM teams to prevent operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Data Integrity and Reporting: Improve data accuracy across systems, developing reporting tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and implement security measures to protect company data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and integrate technology advancements to enhance system functionality, staying ahead of industry trends.



Qualifications and Experience

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience managing SAP, EWM, EDI, and Shopify platforms.
  • Proficient in database management, system integration, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT project management.

SAP-Specific Expertise:

  • Proven experience with SAP ECP (Customer Code Creation) and process optimization.
  • Ability to establish in-house SAP knowledge to reduce reliance on external teams.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in defining clear IT roles and responsibilities.
  • Ability to build and develop an IT team that supports operational excellence.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly resolve technical issues.
  • Data-driven approach to optimizing system performance and user experience.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business units, particularly Sales, as well as external retailer partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enhance collaboration and quick issue resolution.

Strategic Planning and Financial Acumen:

  • Experience developing IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to manage IT budgets and conduct cost-benefit analysis for technology investments.

Compliance and Security Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices for data security.
  • Experience implementing security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.

Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

  • Commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and IT best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
