Amoroso Construction is seeking a qualified Superintendent to join our team . Under the direction of the Operations Manager/Project Executive, the field Superintendent is responsible for the planning and supervision of field operations to achieve delivery of the assigned phase within budgetary, time and contractual commitments. The position requires a sound working relationship with the Project Manager and similarly sound relationships with subcontractors, unions, architects, consultants, and peers.

- The planning of the physical work in the field and coordination with other phases competing for resources, including labor.
- The management of labor and achievement of productivity to meet contractual commitments and time and cost targets.
- The management of the construction process to assure quality to meet specification with minimal rework.
- The implementation of sound procedures on site.
- The identification and management of quality non-conformances.
- The initiation of RFI’s to ensure construction risk is managed by having design complete in time.
- The monitoring and reporting of delays to the work.
- On-site coordination of subcontractors and direct work.
- Plan and requisition materials.
- Active pursuance of good team relationships to ensure good cooperation and commitment to the success of the overall project.
- Maintain daily job site diary in accordance with company policy.
- Planning of logistics for the assigned phase of the work.
- The position would call for 10 years minimum experience in construction including successful supervisory experience on a major project in the USA.
- The position requires a sound level of construction experience with proven competence in the planning management of on-site (commercial) construction activity.
- Staff management, leadership and motivational skills are required to achieve productivity targets on the job.
