**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Assist the classroom teacher in assembling and preparing instructional materials.
2. Monitor students under the direction of the teacher or building administrator.
3. Perform clerical work related to instructional activities such as grading assignments and keeping lunch counts.
4. Participate in staff development activities related to the area of assignment.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
**Working Conditions:**
The Teacher Assistant will work 187 days per year according to the School Board Pay Schedule. The performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations on the evaluation of non-licensed personnel.
