Amoskeag Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and progressive, nonprofit primary healthcare organization that celebrated its 30th year in 2023!

Our team of healthcare professionals positively impacts the health, well-being and quality of life for those we serve providing comprehensive, integrated, affordable healthcare and education to patients. We utilize a team-based model including embedded Behavioral Health Clinicians as well as Case Managers, Care Coordinators and Community Health Workers.

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for promoting revenue integrity and accurate reimbursement for the organization by ensuring timely Provider Credentialing / Enrollments with payers, maintaining updates for providers in CAQH and other software / portals, and coordinating with HR to secure the necessary information. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as exemplary customer service skills. The term Customer includes Providers, Patients, and other departments within Amoskeag Health. There are over 75 providers and 20 locations to maintain credentialing with multiple insurance companies. This is a challenging job that requires organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Education / Training : HS diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge / Skills :

Basic computer skills to enter / edit data.

  • Use of the credentialling software Modio is preferred, but not required
  • Use of Microsoft Office products : Outlook, Word, and Excel is
  • The following is required : the ability to work independently, have decision making ability, have strong interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to pay attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated flexibility, motivation and positive attitude.
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
  • Experience : Provider Credentialing experience preferred. Other experience in Customer Service within a Healthcare setting & / or other business office considered, including data tracking and filing, meeting deadlines, attention to detail and good phone etiquette.
