Amotec is recruiting an Outside Sales Representative to join our client’s team. Our client, a food distributor with over 30 years of experience, delivers high-quality products to restaurants, hotels, specialty food stores, and more. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the Outside Sales Representative will oversee an assigned territory, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth by upselling products to existing customers.
Outside Sales Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and other clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Present and recommend new or featured products to customers, highlighting their benefits and value. Upsell additional products to increase revenue and meet sales targets.
- Plan and execute sales strategies within an assigned territory, including scheduling client visits, identifying new business opportunities, and managing a pipeline of potential leads.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to anticipate customer needs and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience specializing in selling specialty food products to restaurants and hotels is required
- Must possess a proactive, hunter mentality with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales goals
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, provide proof of insurance, and maintain a clean driving record
