Amotec is currently recruiting for multiple Chemical Plant Operator. These roles are with our client, a leader in aiding industries with clean water through chemistry. In this role, you will be responsible for daily production activities on the shop floor, including manufacturing production batches, filling containers with product, unloading bulk tankers, and performing minor maintenance tasks. Job Responsibilities : Perform chemical batching and production processes according to lab instructions.Fill totes, drums, and bulk tankers with finished product and ensure accurate labeling and shipping preparation.Unload and load bulk tankers as needed.Maintain a clean and safe workspace and adhere to safety protocols, including Hazard Communication, PPE training, and DOT Hazardous Materials regulations.Perform minor maintenance tasks and assist with inventory activities.Collaborate with the team to complete processes efficiently without micromanagement.Requirements : Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.Flexibility, self-starting attitude, and willingness to take initiative without needing specific direction.Must pass a drug test and respirator fit test.Intermediate to advanced computer literacy.Previous experience or education in chemistry is a plus.At Amotec, placing quality individuals with successful companies is the core focus of our business.
