Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Chemical Packager / Forklift Operator with a Manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ.
Pay-rate : $20 / hr
Shift Schedule : Monday-Friday; 5 : 00AM-2 : 30PM
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Chemical Packager / Forklift Operator Responsibilities :
Evacuating, inspecting, re-valving, filling, and painting cylinders and ton containers of chlorine.
Unloading tank cars and loading and unloading trucks.
Loading and unloading industrial tanks weighing up to 75 lbs.
Operating a forklift (preferred, but not required).
Performing general clean-up duties, including sweeping and painting tanks.
Adhering to safe work practices and utilizing required PPE.
Standing for extended periods in a dusty and varying temperature environment (both inside and outside).
Chemical Packager / Forklift Operator Qualifications :
Experience in a production environment is preferred.
Knowledge of safe work practices.
Ability to read and understand training materials.
Some knowledge of plumbing and PVC.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Prior experience in industrial or construction settings (minimum 1 year).
Good attendance record and consistent employment history.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
