A DAY IN THE LIFE :
As a Back-End Software Engineer, you'll be at the core of building and maintaining scalable, high-performance services that power our financial technology platform. Your focus will be on designing and implementing robust back-end systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of our distributed services. Working closely with a team of 5-10 engineers across software development and quality engineering, you will contribute to our microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud-native infrastructure.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance our platform's capabilities, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and built for the future of financial technology.

WHAT WE'LL TRUST YOU TO DELIVER :
- Develop and optimize scalable back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, and Micronaut
- Design, implement, and maintain microservices in a Kubernetes-based environment
- Work with event-driven architectures using Temporal and ActiveMQ for asynchronous workflows
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations with front-end services and third-party providers
- Enhance data processing and storage solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability by proactively identifying areas for improvement
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring best practices in CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to elevate the team's technical capabilities
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enhance our AWS cloud-based infrastructure
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and contribute to our technical roadmap
