Overview: We are currently seeking a C14 Certified Painter to join our team in Bremerton, WA. The ideal candidate will have experience applying paint to marine vessels and the ability to work in confined spaces. Responsibilities
- Applying paint to marine vessels according to specifications and quality standards.
- Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Working in confined spaces aboard ships to access and paint various areas.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including those specific to working aboard marine vessels and in government installations.
- Passing a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test as required.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience painting marine vessels.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience painting marine vessels.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Ability to obtain access to government installations.
- Ability to pass a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Not sensitive to epoxy paint systems or claustrophobic.
