Job Title: Engineer System Performance
Location(s): Walnut, CA
Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years
Description:
- The engineer will be primarily responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of the LTE and 5G Networks in NORCAL.
- In addition to this the engineer will be responsible for monitoring ROOT drive when ROOT is in the market, analyze the ROOT data once the drive is complete and make optimization/Capacity recommendations based on analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for collecting and using hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the LTE and 5G network.
- Representing the team for feature related projects, new node integration, and other centralized tasks by meeting deliverables and holding other parties accountable per project plan.
- Troubleshooting hardware and performance problems independently or by coordinating with other teams.
- Supporting Network Performance in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems.
- Reporting issues to appropriate engineers.
- Resolving customer service issues, assisting in implementing solutions, and collecting drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization.
