About Us AMPed Learning Center is a unique educational and play space designed for families with children from infants to 7 years old (and beyond!). We offer open play sessions, early childhood programs, co-working spaces for parents, birthday parties, and much more. About the Role As an AMPed staff member, you’ll help create unforgettable experiences for children and their families. This part-time role is ideal for college students or stay-at-home parents—especially since you’re welcome to bring your child with you to work! We are looking for staff members to work in the mornings on Mondays through Friday but are flexible on which days this staff member works. Hours are 9 AM to 12 PM, making it a perfect fit for those seeking flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging activities: Lead kids in fun, age-appropriate activities like arts & crafts, story time, sing-alongs, movement games, and themed events. Activity plans and supplies will be provided.
- Create a welcoming environment: Decorate the play space to make it fun and visually appealing. Keep play areas clean, safe, and stocked with age-appropriate toys.
- Interact with families: Supervise children’s play, interact with parents, and help create a positive, friendly atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety: Help ensure the play space is clean, organized, and adheres to safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- No prior experience required, but enthusiasm for working with children is a must!
- Creative and energetic individuals who love coming up with fun and engaging ideas.
- Friendly and approachable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and reliable, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- A team player who’s eager to contribute to a positive environment.
- Must pass a background check.
