THE CITY OF PORT HURON IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
CHILDREN’S MUSEUM PLAY FACILITATOR
Play Facilitators are the first line of the customer service experience at the museum, ensuring that every museum visitor has a pleasant, safe, clean, and enjoyable experience. Facilitators will interact with guests, facilitate play, clean and maintain the museum and its exhibits, and attend events.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide exemplary customer service by interacting with museum guests in a friendly and positive manner throughout the museum experience.
- Provide guests with an overview of the museum exhibits and activities, and facilitate play.
- Answer the phone and direct calls in a professional manner.
- Welcome guests, sell and scan tickets, and assist guests by answering questions.
- Reset/tidy up the museum exhibits, including cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the museum.
- Assist in the general janitorial duties throughout the museum, as directed.
- Opening and closing procedures.
Location: 317 Grand River Avenue, Port Huron, MI 48060
Working Hours: Varied work schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 hourly
Benefit Package: Does not include a benefit package.
