Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Amphenol Aerospace Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our military specification (Mil-Spec) products.
Reporting directly to our Compliance group, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement areas for improvement, create quality reports, documentation, and procedures, and monitor the entire production cycle to ensure Military Specification compliance.
Furthermore, you will stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and update compliance knowledge as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control measures to ensure product safety and quality.
- Conduct regular audits at AAO facilities to ensure Mil-Spec compliance documentation and standards are met.
- Work closely with Engineering to resolve quality-related issues and develop effective Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs).
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and update compliance knowledge as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to promote open communication and collaboration.
- Perform root cause analyses to determine the source of quality-related issues.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous growth and innovation.
Requirements

- Four-year degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- Three to five years of experience in a quality or compliance role.
- Proven track record of implementing effective quality control measures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of technical documentation and statistical analysis.
