ABOUT THE ROLE
The Electrician will be a self-directed, safety conscious individual who has the skills in the repair, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment. Will perform electrical and electronic service functions on equipment and facilities.
LOCATION
Onsite - St Marys, Pennsylvania
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Efficiently and safely maintain, repair, disconnect and connect all equipment and systems used in the facilities.
Maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts and supplies to effectively and efficiently support all equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Perform minor mechanical repairs, connections and construction to plan.
Strong electrical/mechanical background.
Understanding of systems used to operate the facility (i.e. electrical distribution, emergency power, alarms, chiller, HVAC, etc.)
Experience and practical application working with PLC driven devices.
Basic hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting
Basic robotic troubleshooting
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of all production equipment.
Ability to implement corrective actions.
Flexibility with schedule and ability to work overtime is essential.
Exhibit effective communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Automation is preferred.
