ABOUT THE ROLE

The Electrician will be a self-directed, safety conscious individual who has the skills in the repair, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment. Will perform electrical and electronic service functions on equipment and facilities.

LOCATION

Onsite - St Marys, Pennsylvania

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Efficiently and safely maintain, repair, disconnect and connect all equipment and systems used in the facilities.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts and supplies to effectively and efficiently support all equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs, connections and construction to plan.
• Strong electrical / mechanical background.
• Understanding of systems used to operate the facility (i.e. electrical distribution, emergency power, alarms, chiller, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience and practical application working with PLC driven devices.
• Basic hydraulic / pneumatic troubleshooting
• Basic robotic troubleshooting
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans.
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of all production equipment.
• Ability to implement corrective actions.
• Flexibility with schedule and ability to work overtime is essential.
• Exhibit effective communication skills.
