The position will be located in our Etters, PA office.

This role supports the Mechanical Integrity group. Job functions will include assisting in mechanical testing of electrical connectors and components, processing and analysis of testing results, and assistance in the development of fixtures used in testing.

What You'll Do

- Assist in the preparation and setup of connector test samples for various validation tests.
- Machining and fixture design
- Work closely with internal and external suppliers and manufacturing personnel
- Supporting the development and validation of product prototypes
- Support the testing process by collecting, organizing, and recording data from environmental, electrical, and mechanical tests.
- Assist in the compilation of technical reports detailing test results.
- Work on assigned tasks independently within set boundaries and timelines.
- Assist with other related duties as required by Reliability Engineers and supervisors.
Qualified candidates will be Junior, Senior, Master's, or PhD level in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Materials Engineering programs.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Pro-E or Solidworks
- Strong software skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and completion of assigned tasks on time.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to question and accuracy in collecting and reporting test data.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and thoroughness in completing work.
- Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people
- Knowledge of the electronics industry and familiarity with connectors and small components.
- Experience with Minitab for statistical analysis.
- Prior training in WHMIS and familiarity with safety protocols.
- Experience with machining and fixture design are a plus
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools desirable
- Ability to work in team environment
