Position Summary : Mechanical Integrity Engineer Intern 2025Summer Internship Program
Location : Valley Green, PA
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom / Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer Intern to join our team. The position will be located in our Etters, PA office.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
This role supports the Mechanical Integrity group. Job functions will include assisting in mechanical testing of electrical connectors and components, processing and analysis of testing results, and assistance in the development of fixtures used in testing.
What you'll do : Gain Experience!
- Support the product design effort in mechanical analysis such as tolerance analysis, FEA, materials analysis, failure analysis, and creating test plans
- Machining and fixture design
- Work closely with internal and external suppliers and manufacturing personnel
- Supporting the development and validation of product prototypes
- Interfacing with customers and other engineering disciplines in the design and manufacturing process of interconnect products
QUALIFICATIONS :
Qualified candidates will be Junior, Senior, Master's, or PhD levelin Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Materials Engineering programs.
