SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the creation, proper entry, and maintenance of 'customer master data' in SAP and performing various inventory-related functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Accurately manages the 'customer master data' in SAP / ERP.
- Work closely with the quoting, order entry, and reporting teams.
- Provide centralized support to the sales and customer experience departments as it relates to data integrity and system optimization.
- Ensures compliance with internal procedures of the Master Data Governance policy.
- Hold internal assets accountable for providing accurate information.
- Run system reports and distribute them to appropriate personnel.
- Perform and support 'customer master data' audit if required.
- Ongoing data cleanup, entry of additional data, and maintenance of customer master information record (CMIR).
- Input SAP pricing and other condition records uploaded and submitted in SAP as approved by product management.
- Review 'customer master data' regularly to limit duplicates and remove outdated data.
- Propose solutions to complex 'customer master data' related questions for projects.
- Propose process and operational improvements when needed.
- Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and the company
