We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
