Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist receives, processes, and pays invoices from vendors. This position is present at the office location during key business hours.

The hourly range for this position is $19 / hour - Commensurate, dependent on experience, education, and skills. We also offer semi-annual profit-sharing bonuses based on company profits to share in the mutual success! In the past, these have ranged between 3.5% - 11.5% of annual salary.

Who You Are:
- 2 years of office experience
- 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Bachelor's degree is sufficient in lieu of experience
- Basic understanding of accounting periods and deadlines
- Knowledge of construction accounting (retention)
- Knowledge of purchasing
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing
- Understanding of standard payment terms
- Mathematical aptitude
Who You Are:
- Receives and processes vendor invoices.
- Communicates with vendors and company personnel regarding vendor invoices.
- Assists in the preparation of weekly vendor payment runs.
- Assists with matching purchase orders
- Understands and can explain the invoice approval process
- Imports data from extraneous software into enterprise software.
- Handles miscellaneous emails and telephone calls.
- Assist in the review, posting, and payment of employee expenses including reviewing supporting documentation and proper coding
