Job Summary:
The Project Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of a project, including project setup, billing, and closeout.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - Commensurate, dependent on relevant experience, education, and qualifications. We also offer semi-annual profit-sharing bonuses based on company profits to share in the mutual success! In the past, these have ranges between 3.5% - 11.5% of annual salary.

Who You Are:
- 5 years of relevant experience in detailed contract analysis and billing
- Experience in working with many different project managers
- Experience working in a professional Accounting setting, preferably in Project Accounting
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Office 365 experience
- Deltek Vantagepoint experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work on a team and independently.
What You'll Do:
- Streamline financial processes to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Prepare and review drafts of invoices for project manager approval. Deliver approved invoices to client.
- Ensure a steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure client invoices are at contractually agreed upon bill rates. Ensure project reports are clear and updated.
- Perform in-depth investigations of unbilled project labor and expenses for timely billing.
- Assess project budgets.
- Provide project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets.
- Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.
- Assist clients and project managers with reporting needs.
