We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Experience Computer Technician to join our growing team. As a Data Center Computer Technician, you will be responsible for running diagnostics, break fix, configuring, installing, and maintaining servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Run Hardware Diagnostics, Clear Settings, and enter data into Systems
- Break-fix support, servers, networking devices, laptops desktops, hardware issue replacements such as... motherboards, hard drives, RAM, PSU's, CPUs, M.2 SSD's, fans, Displays, etc
- Install and configure servers, data arrays, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain the performance and security of the internal data center
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software systems
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers
- Document all activities and procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Data Center Computer Technician
- Experience with server and networking equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and technologies
- Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Vmax
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Desired Skill: Servers, Switches, Break Fix, Rebooting, Hardware diagnostics, Blancco and SoftThinks Software, Putty, Hands On, Rack & Stack, Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Efficiency and Time management, attention to detail, Computer Repair, Computer Hardware, Computer & desktop imaging
