Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper reconciliation, prepare and update reports, and data entry processes.
- Run software systems to assist with business transactions including accounts payable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts
- Accurately prepare and maintain bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records correctly.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts in a timely manner.
- Track and maintain sales commission, inventory data, and other data entries in the database.
- Research, track, restore accounting or documentation errors, problems, or discrepancies.
- Must be able to function in accordance with established GAAP rules and standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. Relevant certification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience is required.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with general accounting procedures and accounting software. Proficiency in excel is a must.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Pay for this position starts at $20.00 per hour, but is dependent on experience. Benefits are available after successfully completing 90 days of employment. This position is a Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm schedule. This is an in office, non-remote position. We are a dog friendly office!
