We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager, HR Business Partner, to join our team. The HR Manager, HR Business Partner combines team leadership with strategic HR responsibilities to enhance employee experience and ensure compliance. This role manages operations while acting as a strategic partner in human resources and will focus on fostering a positive work environment maintaining adherence and compliance to labor laws and company policies within the organization.
Team Management:
- Manage operations, ensuring team productivity and adherence to compliance and standards.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members while fostering professional development.
- Conduct regular team meetings to promote communication and collaboration.
Employee Experience:
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Foster a workplace environment focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state and local labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training on compliance topics for team members.
HR Strategy and Partnership:
- Collaborate with upper management to align HR strategies that support overall business goals.
- Serve as a resource for team members regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Monitor HR metrics to assess team performance and engagement levels.
- Prepare reports for upper management on employee feedback and compliance status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR Certification (eg: SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- 5 plus years' experience, with a strong understanding of HR functions including 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of labor laws, regulations, and best HR practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
