Sales Responsibilities: The successful candidate will thrive in a culture of accountability, diligently managing the sales pipeline, working with an external marketing company to bring in new leads, qualifying new leads to ensure a win-win for both the client and us, and closing new deals.
Key Performance Indicators:
Business Development & Networking: The ideal candidate will prospect for new opportunities through networking, events, strategic partnerships, LinkedIn, and referrals. They will track everything 'religiously' in our CRM, work with an external marketing company and/or internal marketing and sales staff to generate raw leads that convert into sales appointments, and be accountable for results from the overall marketing strategy.
Sales & Marketing Processes: We are looking for someone who ensures we have rock-solid sales and marketing processes that consistently generate results. They will simplify, document, and follow established CORE processes, as well as ensure any processes and checklists related to the sales and marketing team are accurate and contribute to the overall success of the team. Additionally, they will set annual sales plans and goals, hold quarterly planning meetings with their team, set thoughtful quarterly initiatives that contribute to annual goals and/or top three expected results, and lead a weekly sales meeting at the same day, time, and with the same agenda.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, CS/MIS, or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in B2B sales, proven success prospecting and closing sales, a proven record developing and managing a sales process/playbook, and proficiency using professional CRMs and other sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Pardot.
