Job Title: Outsides Sales Representative (REMOTE with travel)


Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities while fostering strong relationships with prospects and customers. You will represent our company within the industry, deliver value-driven solutions, and contribute to the overall growth of our business.

*This role will be responsible for selling piping, equipment, and equipment rentals within the Oil and Gas industry.

Location: REMOTE with travel to customers within a 2–4-hour radius near the Tioga, ND, Williston Basin or the Bakken region.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Opportunity Exploration:

  • Identify and engage with prospects within a designated territory and hunt for new business and develop relationships with contacts within the Oil and Gas industry as well as adjacent industries.
  • Record and manage new prospects in the database.
  • Represent the company in industry, trade, or professional associations to build positive relationships.
  • Research and utilize sales tools to develop solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Communicate the value of our products and services to prospects through meaningful interactions.

Account Development and Relationship Management:

  • Establish alliances and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and foster positive, long-term business relationships.
  • Prepare and present sales information, including quotes, market analysis, and sales expenses.
  • Support account management through proactive communication and the resolution of any issues.

Coordination of Sales Efforts:

  • Collaborate with customer service associates to streamline sales processes.
  • Research, prepare presentations, and attend sales meetings.
  • Make pricing decisions and negotiate effectively to secure sales.
  • Take part in other duties as assigned to support overall sales objectives.


Travel Requirement:

  • 10-25% Travel is required to engage with prospects and customers within the designated territory.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • 3-10 years’ experience in a sales role with prospecting experience.
  • Will consider a Field Technician from the Oil and Gas industry with sales experience.
  • Effective communication skills to address engineers, construction managers and various decision makers.
  • Experience in closing sales.
  • Customer service expertise.
  • Proficiency in direct customer selling processes.
