Continuous Improvement and Lean Director

Location : Eastern Standard Time, 100% remote, with travel
Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement and Lean Director with extensive experience in high-output laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will be an expert in value stream mapping, 5S, and kaizen methodologies. They will be responsible for leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies, including value stream mapping, 5S, and kaizen.
Lead teams in identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity in high-output laboratory settings.
Drive the implementation of lean principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-output laboratory environment with a focus on continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
Proven expertise in value stream mapping, 5S, and kaizen.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and persuade teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and achieve results in a performance-driven environment.
