About the Job
Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, ensuring the manufacturing and process engineering teams work together effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain product functionality and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plant expansion strategies.
- Design and implement lean manufacturing cells to optimize space, equipment, material, and personnel.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain departmental documentation (training, work instructions).
- Evaluate and implement all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures at all times.
- Identify and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and equipment to reduce costs through efficiencies.
- Support all current and new product introductions.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
- Mentor and coach new Manufacturing Engineers and other employees as needed.
- Collaborate with the quality department to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 13485 standards.
