Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leasing Coordinator to oversee our property leasing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining the overall functionality of the properties. This role requires a blend of administrative skills, customer service expertise, and knowledge of property management/leasing practices.
Duties:
- Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing available properties and conducting tours for prospective tenants.
- Negotiate lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal requirements related to residential leasing.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including tenant applications, lease agreements, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with facilities management to ensure that properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Utilize Buildium software to track leases, manage tenant files, and generate reports.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing documents and files.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and property maintenance practices is ideal.
- Familiarity with laws related to property leasing and tenant rights is ideal.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to effectively market properties and close lease agreements.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants, vendors & landlords.
- Proficiency in using office software and property management systems like Buildium.
- Strong negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements that benefit both the company and tenants.
- Ability to work independently and remain proactive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Texas Real Estate License (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in leasing, property management, or residential sales.
