Job: Distribution Center Coordinator
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Position Reports to: Operations Manager
Work Location: Round Rock, TX
Responsibilities:
The DC Coordinator purpose is to provide daily oversight of the distribution center of the receiving and distribution functions of the warehouse within CWS standards and procedures.
- Pull and stage furniture and housewares daily for work orders utilizing the company’s WMS system.
- Works closely with the Operations Manager and Purchasing in reporting receiving discrepancies regarding shipments and stock transfers from other locations.
- Follow bed bug protocol and procedures.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance levels are achieved.
- Maintain furniture, housewares, tooling, and moving equipment inventory and collaborate with the Operations Manager for the order of any supply requirements to perform daily tasks.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on any damaged inventory following company protocol.
- Perform weekly and annual inventory.
- Prepare and pack housewares kits as needed.
- Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for furniture.
- Clean furniture per company procedures.
- Assemble/disassemble furniture as needed.
- Monitor the maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Restock and assist in arranging products in retail outlet.
- Assist customers with loading purchased items.
- Remove and dispose of product as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This job operates in a warehouse and apartment community work environment. This role routinely uses household cleaning supplies and may be exposed to dust, fumes, and gases prevalent in apartment communities. This job requires maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling, bending at the neck, waist, arms, legs, transporting an object, lifting to 50 lbs., ascending or descending stairs, and ramps.
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm
Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED or equivalent
Experience Preferred: At least 2 years of warehousing experience required; 2 years of furniture repair/cleaning experience.
Requirement: Ability to pass background, drug and driving record check annually, as per company policy and guidelines. Must maintain a valid and unexpired driver’s license that meets company driving standards and maintain current automobile insurance and registration.
