The Electrode Prep Technician uses various equipment and hand tools to produce Amprius Technologies' proprietary silicon anode Li-Ion cells. We seek a reliable team member who would excel in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. This is a 6-month TEMP role with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
- Perform complex assembly work using manual/hand tools and automation equipment.
- Use small equipment safely and efficiently, such as die punches, rotary tools, and cutters
- Operate large equipment such as furnace, stacker, and deposition rig.
- Ability to accurately measure materials with drop gage, mass scale, and caliper.
- Conduct a visual check and report any irregularities
- Accurately record data into quality management software.
- Follow standard work instructions and recommend improvements.
- Ability to do precise, detail-oriented, repetitive work.
- Exceptional manual dexterity and efficiency.
- Working knowledge of basic hand/power tools, and production equipment.
- Basic computer skills including accurate data entry and using email in G-Suite.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and well-organized work area by complying with process and 5S standards.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Experience in cell assembly, battery electrode, is preferred.
- Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
- Adhere to the company's quality and safety requirements.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Able to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull
- Must utilize and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes.
- Alternate Workweek Schedule. Day Shift.
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternate Wednesdays from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm.
- Training Schedule for the first two weeks of employment will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
