We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. The ideal candidate is organized, proficient with warehouse systems, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and Process Shipments: Unload delivery trucks, sort and stock incoming materials, and verify and record shipment details.
- Prepare Outgoing Shipments: Package and label items, print shipping labels, and arrange transportation with carriers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Shipping Coordination: Work closely with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Customer Support: Respond promptly to customer inquiries or complaints related to shipping or inventory issues.
- Shipping Analysis: Review shipping data to make cost-effective routing decisions and calculate shipping expenses.
- International Shipping Documentation: Prepare accurate, compliant documentation for international shipments and coordinate pick-up and delivery logistics.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Skills: Ability to safely operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) and physical ability to lift and organize cartons on pallets
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Warehouse environment with occasional heavy lifting
- Use of warehouse equipment and software systems
- Experience with NetSuite and/ or WMS systems preferred
