Location: Lubbock Texas
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently into our accounting software.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping duties including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
- Communicate with creditors regarding billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and account reconciliation.
- Coordinate timely scheduled payments to ensure compliance with payment terms and deadlines.
- Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role or internship is a plus.
