AMS Staffing is seeking an Electrician Cold Roll Mill Maintenance located close to the beautiful, AL Coast. Amazing weather, beach activities, and mild Winters! Bonus Qualifications :
- High School Diploma / General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, and to understand electrical / electronic components / inverters
- Basics of digital technology, programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Ability to work with electrical measurement
- Knowledge of AC motors, drives, sensors and actors
- Knowledge of switchgears
- Computer skills to include knowledge of network technology, Microsoft Office, and SAP
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings as well as P&ID's
- Experience / knowledge of coil transport systems, inspection lines, furnaces, power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, automation systems, measurement systems, instrumentation equipment, and hydraulic systems.
- Internship or associate's degree
- 3 years electrical maintenance experience
- Experience in the steel industry
- Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
