DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will support the highly automated Cold Rolling Mill by analyzing reasons for production disturbances in cooperation with other maintenance and production personnel, troubleshooting of process automation and communication systems issues, as well as researching, developing, and coordinating work orders through completion to meet the business goals of AM / NS Calvert.
The Basics :
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Electricity or related field required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with electrical maintenance in an industrial environment, preferably in a steel mill
- Competencies in multiple programming platforms with use of ladder logic, function block and textual / statement list logic
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint )
- Experience with boilers, acid regeneration, air compressors and cooling circuits
- Knowledge in the following :
X-Ray measurement systems
