JOB DESCRIPTION :

The ideal candidate will provide on-site electrical maintenance support through technical leadership and continuous optimization of process improvement within the highly automated Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Metallurgy Facility (LMF), Vacuum Tank Degasser, and Casterto meet the business goals of the company.

Bonus Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting required
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and understand electrical / electronic components / inverters
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings as well as P&ID's
• In depth knowledge of AC motors, drives, sensors and actors;knowledge of Power distribution
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
• Internship or Associates Degree preferred
• Experience in the steel industry preferred
• Prefer experience and knowledge of furnaces, power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, automation systems, measurement systems, instrumentation equipment, and / or hydraulic systems
