What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner position at AMS Urgent Care?
Our office is currently recruiting for full-time and part-time medical providers. MD/DO, PA-C, ANP. We are looking for friendly customer service oriented individuals interested in working and advancing in a pleasant and growing environment.

Job duties include but are not limited to: performing physical exams, perform diagnostic testing and labs, interpret in-office X-rays, diagnosis and management of common medical conditions, patient education, prescribe appropriate medications, perform minor procedures including laceration repair, casting and splinting of fractures, mole removal, skin lesion biopsies and I & D of cutaneous abscesses. Priority hiring for individuals with greatest availability or interested in working Saturday and Sunday.

Candidate must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Alaska as a Physician, Physician Assistant-Certified or Nurse Practitioner with a current unrestricted DEA. PA-C must have current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Ideal candidates should be excited about working and being rewarded, have weekend availability and must be able to work independently in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting.
