Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and logistical support for the medical and claims departments.
- Assist Medical Operations Manager to ensure that onsite and offsite functions of the department run smoothly.
- Files and organizes medical and claims department documents, invoices, manuals, etc.
- Maintains inventory and coordinates with suppliers for medical supplies.
- Coordinate invoice routing and approval for outside medical vendors.
- Coordinate “Pop-up” vaccine and other clinics for employees, including managing scheduling, venue support and logistics.
- Coordinate with on-board medical providers in screening, selecting, and scheduling/rotation of on-board paramedics.
- With oversight from Medical Operation Manager, maintain Fleet Medical and Narcotics Log.
- Assist in coordination of DOT Drug Testing in compliance with company drug and alcohol policy and USCG requirements.
- Provide support for Corporate Office medical activities including Annual Flu Shot Clinic, CPR/First Aid Classes and Employee Health Screenings.
- With oversight from Medical Operations Manager, coordinate crewmember health and wellness programs.
- Assist Claims Director on routine claim processes including claim notification, indemnification processing, data management, and routing reporting.
- Provide on-site (pier-side or on vessel) assistance during shipyard, crew-up and other times to support claims and medical functions.
- Other duties as assigned to support the medical and claims functions.

Education/Experience Required
- High School diploma or GED; higher degree (AA, BA, etc.) valued.
- Must be knowledgeable in basic Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word and Excel);
- Must have people skills geared towards diversity.
- Knowledge of fishing, medical, and/or claims industries preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience detailed project coordination experience.
Work Schedule
Anticipated hours are:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Occasional overtime and irregular hours required
Position requires in-person attendance.
Work will take place in both an office setting and at vessel locations.
Must have reliable transportation.

Salary Range: $57,000 - $70,000/annual
